Tall Bearded

Tried and True – Old and New

Most of the iris in our main listing are Tall Bearded, with stalks over 28” tall and as high as 40” (there are some Border Bearded (BB) that are 16”-28” tall). Their time of bloom ranges from mid-April in the southern states to late June in the far north and high elevations. Most varieties bloom once a year in the spring, although some will re-bloom in the summer and fall in warm climates.
