We miss your muddy boots in our fields so much that we decided to reach out and say hello! This seasonal newsletter is where you can keep in touch with all things Long's Gardens throughout the seasons. Expect relevant information about opening days, holiday specials, some quirky poetry now and again, and hopefully a poignant photograph or three.

We've been busy prepping next year's fields for your enjoyment, expanding our irrigation capacity, tidying up after some potent winds and building a composting system with our pals at Growing Gardens.

Our website is always open and although iris purchases are currently restricted from the online store you can still browse for some Long's Gardens merchandise or a gift card! We'll keep our fingers warm enough to update you in between these newsletters through our Instagram account @longsgardens. Give us a follow, fellow gardeners! In the meantime, dance for more snow, sharpen those digging forks and maybe, just maybe, finally get the dirt out from under your nails.

The Long's Gardens family was deeply saddened to watch the devastating fires move through Superior and Louisville, while simultaneously keeping our ears and eyes to the north with the Middle Fork fire. Although we could watch from relative safety, it served as a reminder of the ecology of our place here at the foothills of the Front Range.

We are lucky to live in such an area of natural beauty, giving us respite from the pace and non stop demands of the world around us. We hope our friends and neighbors are able to move through these challenging times with love and support - and if you ever need to take a break from the city, drive up to to the farm and take a deep breath for yourself - we'll be inside snuggling the cat.
